Enough is enough
I don’t know whether to laugh of cry. Mind you, I can’t imagine what it must be like working in the media department at the club. Poor sods.
“Interim Head Coach.” In capitals. So Fraeye has given up a full time job at homely VW Hamme to take up an interim position? As has Wim De Corte. Then again it is like giving up a full time paper round to take up a makeshift role in the city at an investment bank. You wouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth would you?
Karel Fraeye is taking training tomorrow. What can the bloke who as head coach of an amateur club who lost their last two home games under his charge 0-4 and 0-3 teach Alou Diarra or Johan Berg Gudmundsson?
New Interim Assistant Head Coach Wim De Corte took some Googling. Where does Duchatelet get these people from? De Corte is currently assistant manager at Bob Peeters old club Waasland-Beveren, or at least he was. The 43-year old had a couple of low-level managerial jobs, for 11 years at 4th Division Standaard Wetteren and had a win rate of a little more than 20%. You can’t make this stuff up.
The obvious choice for caretaker or interim manager was Jason Euell, who incidentally has just passed his UEFA A coaches license. These puppets are not fit enough to lace Euell’s boots.
Enough is enough. We cannot just sit back and allow this man to run our club into the ground. He may have bought us, some say he saved us. Well I think I’d rather have taken our chances.
